Sunday, October 26, St. Mary’s Parish Anniversary will be celebrated with a festive pot-luck. Watch for a sign-up sheet in Holy Name Hall.

Choir rehearsal has been permanently rescheduled for Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Continued thanks go to our choir members for their dedication and effort.

The large blue bin with the recycling symbol in Holy Name Hall is for your convenience in depositing paper, and reasonably clean and dry recyclable items such as foam cups or plates. Please, NO food, liquids, paper napkins, tissue paper, and other non-recyclables in this container.

Tuesday, October 28, 11:30 AM, a Business of God luncheon, sponsored by Church Divinity School of the Pacific, is scheduled at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 6300 N Central, in Phoenix. The speaker will be the Rt Rev Claude R Payne; his presentation is titled Reclaiming Our Heritage. More information and luncheon reservation forms are in Holy Name Hall.

A VERY NEGLECTED SIGN-UP SHEET for Coffee Hour snacks after Mass is begging for your attention. We need only a couple to bring snacks on any given Sunday, but please sign up. Potential donors then can see if there is someone already scheduled to donate on a certain Sunday, and can schedule their donation for another date.

Surviving the Holidays, a forum for people caring for aging loved ones, will be held in the Church of the Beatitudes Lounge, 555 W Glendale Ave, on Tuesday, Nov 4, 9:30 AM to1:30 PM. There will be music, laughter, food, and friendship. The Seminar is free, but space is limited. Call Beatitudes Center DOAR at 602-274-5022.
